In addition to writing landing pages, emails, and newsletters, I’ve assisted in creating a variety of content for clients, especially those whose marketing is highly regulated. From product reviews and product buying guides to blogs. I’ve worked on print campaigns, including graphics and copy for brochures and posters. I’m experienced in creating content used for fund-raising efforts.

I often enjoy writing up something I’m particularly fixated on. I’ve written about Maurice Wilson, an incredible story of the man who tried to land a plane on Everest and scale it in the 1930’s. As a regular tarot user, I love the Smith-Waite tarot cards, so I wrote a story focusing on the Smith- Waite Tarot’s Stage Cards, a fun quirk of Pixie’s deck.

I’m a needlewoman / fiber artist, and for around eight months I wore corsets I created daily. I wrote about that experience in What I Learned By Sewing and Wearing An 1890’s Working Woman’s Corset, which was published in a women’s history publication on Medium. The sewing machine I used to make it was an Antique Singer Sewing machine that inspired an article on how to find out more about those machines and care for them. I also broke down what it took to make a corset from upcycled materials.

As an ex-marathoner and student of yoga (I particularly love asana and pranayama!), I’ve tackled wellness topics. I have written quite a bit about cannabis labs and cannabis testing, and I’m very proud of one piece in particular from 2022 that examined 250,000 cannabis lab testing records I personally FOIA’d and visualized in addition to coordinating a lab testing ’round robin’ I ran in Cannabis Labs vs. Cannabis Science.

I became just slightly obsessed, as you can see from this list on my Medium account. I co-authored a white paper about an exceptional cannabis farm seeking to ensure their product was aspergillus-free in Industry Perspective: 54 Green Acres Farm. I co-authored ‘Pesticides Found in Cannabis During Recent Shelf Tests‘ with the Institute of Cannabis Science.

I have also written about independent film – from spoiler-free reviews to more in-depth explorations. I’m a sucker for a good story told well.

I have a bit of additional bit of scientific cred due to my data skills. I co-authored Market Audits Combat Cannabis Misinformation and Federating Clinical Data from Six Pediatric Hospitals: Process and Initial Results from the PHIS+ Consortium.
